Joseph Hayes

Managing Director

Joe has over 25 years’ experience in the sector, including 13 as a Partner at KPMG and McGrathNicol, before forming Wexted Advisors on 1 July 2017.

Joe is highly skilled working with and advising parties with diverse objectives or disputed positions to achieve best outcomes. Working closely with management, boards, lenders and owners, Joe has undertaken many large and complex restructuring and insolvency cases over a long period. He also has significant expertise in the supervision of complex litigation and the successful settlement of multi-party disputes and has given expert evidence in court proceedings.

Andrew McCabe

Partner

Andrew has over 20 years’ experience in the sector, including McGrathNicol and Ferrier Hodgson, and held various corporate roles before joining Wexted Advisors in May 2018.

Andrew has significant experience in trading on complex insolvency engagements across a range of industries in Australia and the UK. He provides both formal and informal restructuring advice, and works closely with management, boards, lenders, owners, accountants and lawyers to resolve matters in a commercial manner. He has significant expertise across of range of industries, including property, construction, technology, hospitality, wholesale and distribution, finance and debenture funds.

Rajiv Goyal

Partner

Raj’s experience has covered all types of formal appointments (voluntary administrations, liquidations, receiverships and deeds of company arrangement) and a number of informal/confidential appointments (safe harbour, independent business reviews and debt/general advisory for lenders, creditors, borrowers and corporates).

Raj has significant expertise across of range of industries, including retail,  property & construction, manufacturing, infrastructure, mining, technology and biotech.

Chris Johnson

Partner

Chris provides restructuring and advisory services to clients. He has over 17 years’ experience in the sector, including roles at McGrathNicol, Herbert Smith Freehills and the Australian Securities and Investments Commission.

Restructuring services include formal insolvency appointments, independent business reviews, lender & stakeholder advisory, managing trading businesses and providing operational improvement advice. Advisory services include forensic accounting, expert reports, investigations and transaction support.

Chris works closely with owners, management, lenders, lawyers, accountants and other stakeholders to reach optimal, practical, commercial solutions. He has broad expertise including across construction, property, regulatory, resources, retail, technology, infrastructure and financial services.

Adam Scobie

Senior Executive

Adam has over 25 years’ experience in financial services, and held various corporate roles before joining Wexted advisors in March 2020.

Adam is experienced in forensic accounting, process re-engineering, detailed analysis and corporate reporting, which adds to the depth of knowledge that Wexted provides.

James Le Messurier

Executive

James joined Wexted Advisors in 2019. James has 11 years industry experience, working on a diverse and complex range of corporate insolvency administrations including Voluntary Administrations, Deeds of Company Arrangements and Receiverships.

Adam Simpson

Executive

Adam has over 10 years’ insolvency and restructuring experience, having held manager roles at a mid-tier restructuring firm and in the credit restructuring team of CBA.

Adam’s expertise range from formal insolvency to informal advisory, with experience in construction, property, hospitality and professional services. The entities that Adam assists range from SME’s to ASX listed large corporates.

 

Lachlan Minogue

Manager

Lachlan joined Wexted Advisors in January 2020 having come from Norton Rose Fulbright where he worked on a range of matters for clients including Accolade Wines, Goodman Fielder and Qantas. Lachlan completed his Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) in 2019 and is continuing his Bachelor of Laws, both at the University of Sydney.

His particular interests are in working with businesses to achieve financial objectives through transactions, restructuring and forecasting, as well as complex insolvency matters.

Angus Malouf

Assistant Manager

Angus joined Wexted Advisors in January 2020, having graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Finance and Economics.  He is currently undertaking the CA program.

Angus has worked on a range of formal appointments and advisory engagements across several industry sectors including financial services, natural resources, construction, entertainment, technology and not for profits. Angus is passionate about Safe Harbour and business restructuring roles that preserve value for stakeholders.
